The blog Baudrillard’s Bastard features an amusing and probably instructive perspective on the activities of dogs in history.
I found this link via Walking the Berkshires’ early modern history carnival, Carnivalesque XXXVIII (Early Modern) Tabloid Edition by subscribing to Finding paths to digital history news feeds.
Dear Tell History,
Thank you for linking to my post on pissing dogs. I’m glad you found it “amusing” and perhaps “instructive.”
I found your recent post on Omeka of interest. I may try to use the program to construct a virtual exhibit, which showcases the pissing dogs of the American Revolution.
Best wishes,
Ortho
Ortho,
Your site is great — not just the pissing dogs although I’ll likely use that in my teaching. My sister is in the news biz and the dogs seem to be providing commentary on events. I hope that you try out Omeka, it will work for your illustrations and it may let others contribute to your collection.
Thanks,
Margie
Dear Margie,
I will try out Omeka this summer.
Thanks for complementing my blog. I like your blog too.
Best wishes,
Ortho
